7-4-07 - are we really free?
yeah, i think so. next week, starting on wed the 11th and continuing through sun the 15th, i'll be working at the addison improv with judah friedlander and arj barker. i'll be the first comic or host or mc or guy least recognizable
or tallest or baldest. doesn't matter. i'm working. July 21 i'll be opening for Ten Hands at Bend Studio in Dallas. August 3 and 4 I'll be in Austin at the Velveeta Room with Mark Agee. So the next few weeks will be jam packed full of Dave Little. And thank God you're free to witness it.

6-6-07 - myspace
If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that i'm not bright. i'm not dumb. just not bright. so, i now have 3 myspace pages. myspace.com/davelittlemusic, myspace.com/davelittle and myspace.com/lovedavelittle. no, i don't know why.

5-26-07 - Let's see
I've been fairly busy. Recorded a national voice over for Beazer Homes. Shot a commercial for TXU that will play in the San Antonio and Houston area. Did another segment on The Gordon Keith Show (wffa.com/entertainment/gordon keith) as Grumpy the Clown. Last night I performed with Four Day Weekend and had one of the best times I've had in a long time. I love performing in Section8, but it was really special to do some different forms with two of the best
improvisers I've ever seen, Dave Wilk and Frank Ford.

3-6-07 - what fun
Opened for my long time friend Ron White. Two shows in Washington, DC, at the Warner Theatre, then two shows at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. It was a blast. I got to stay at Ron and Barbara's house with their two dogs and they were gracious hosts. The Fox Theatre seats 4500 people and Ron sold out both shows. The whole run was first class and I thank the White's, Todd and the MacDonald boys. Also got to see another comic friend who I've known a long time, Alex Reymundo. He tours with Ron quite a bit and just had a special on Showtime.

2-20-07 - okay
just got back from memphis. it was fun. comedy tennessee is a very nice club. worked with my good friend beth donahue and jesse case.

i'm going to open for ron white in washington dc and detroit next week.

10-8-06 - The new cd

Last wednesday I went back into Pleasantry Lane Studios with Salim Nourallah. We had a 2 hour session and laid down drums, guitar, bass, vocals and backing vocals. I have 11 songs written so far plus a holdover (Bored) from my last cd featuring the great Ward Williams (Sorta) on slide guitar

9-17-06 - What will I be doing?
On the 23rd, I'll be at the Barley House, the site of Countdown To Autumn. Some of my favorite bands, Sorta and Olospo, will be there. I'll be doing fake announcements between bands. It'll be fun.
The next week, I'll be at the Houston Improv, working with Jake Johannsen. He's great. And in October I'll be back in the studio with Salim Nourallah recording the followup to the critically ignored but still fun to make "Uncomfortable Moments".

9-17-06 - What have I been doing?
Last week I opened for Ron White at the Oklahoma City Civic Center. Sold out. 3200 seats. Something like that. I lost count after 17.

8-29-06 - work?
if you live in or near Oklahoma City, Arlington or Houston, I'm coming to your town. So watch out. And check the calendar. Then watch out some more

8-21-06 - Should Be Fun

This Thursday I'll be doing a short set at The Lakewood Theatre, sandwiched between a great instrumental group, Shibboleth, and the premiere of the movie "Aqua Rangers". I think it's free.

The next night, which I believe is a Friday, I'll be saying a few words before one of my favorite groups, Sorta, takes the stage to play songs from their new record. Again, I'll be sandwiched between Shibboleth and Sorta. Who doesn't like sandwiches?

7-31-06 - Come on, come on
This Thursday I'll be opening for Sorta. Their new album "Strange and Sad But True" is terrific. I'll be singing a few songs from "Uncomfortable Moments" as well as some new songs but as I type this I realize that all my songs are new and never before been heard. I love Bend Studio and so will you.

7-30-06 - Almost Forgot
The show at Barley was great. There's nothing quite like the power of musicians who know what they're doing playing behind you. Salim Nourallah, Chris Holt, Danny Balis, Trey Carmichael and Eric Neal are helluva guys.

6-3-06 - Hear ye, hear ye
I don't hear that phrase enough. You want to know another phrase I love hearing? You don't? C'mon. I'll tell you anyways. It's "Dave, is your new album finished and available for sale?" Why, yes it is.

My kids get out of school tomorrow, so you know what that means. That's right. Daddy starts drinking earlier

5-15-06 - Austin
Austin was great. Nothing quite like it. Ultra liberal. Which can sometimes be just as bad as ultra conservative but with better music. The velveeta room was fun. crowds were sparse but responsive.

4-23-06 - Where Am I?
Thanks for asking. I'll be at Hyenas in Fort Worth May 5 and 6. The following weekend I'll be at the Velveeta Room in Austin. So get in your cars and take advantage of the 3 dollar a gallon gasoline bonanza.

4-14-06 - Stuff
My new album is finished. It's called "Uncomfortable Moments". It's not a comedy album. But it's also not a serious album. It's a personal album. Whatever that means. The artwork will be finished soon and then I suppose there will be a limited amount pressed and soon it will be out of print and a collector's item. I'm sure I'll have more information here or on myspace/davelittle. Or not

4-13-06 - Goings on
I just got back from Chicago. I can't even describe what it was that I did. But it was great fun. Also did a show at Bend Studio. If you live in the Dallas area and love music but hate not being able to hear it, Bend is the place for you.
